1. Data Controller and Processor

• Brand act as the Data Controller for their customers’ information.
• Dopamine acts as a Data Processor, processing personal data only on
  behalf of the Brand and as instructed.

2. Data We Collect

From Customers (via WhatsApp):

• • Phone number and WhatsApp profile name (automatically provided
    when you interact with a Brand’s program)
  • Program participation and transaction history.
  • Interactions via WhatsApp, surveys, or platform messaging.
  • Device, usage, and analytics data (clicks, engagement metrics).

FAutomatically Collected:

• • IP addresses, device identifiers, and usage logs
  • Cookies or similar tracking technologies.

3. How We Use Data

We use this data to:

• Deliver and operate loyalty programs via WhatsApp.
• Analyze program performance and generate engagement metrics.
• Enhance and train AI/LLM models for better Services.
• Provide anonymized or aggregated insights for analytics,
  benchmarking, or business intelligence.
• Enable Brands to communicate with customers (marketing messages
  only with consent).
• Maintain platform security and prevent abuse

Monetization:

• Dopamine may share anonymized or aggregated data with third
  parties for marketing, research, or analytics purposes.
  
• Individual personal data (phone numbers, names, purchase history) will
  never be sold without explicit consent.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

• Necessary to perform contracts with Brands.
• Based on customer consent for messaging and marketing
  communications.
• Necessary for legitimate interests such as analytics, AI/ML
  improvements, fraud prevention, and platform optimization.
  

5. Sharing and Disclosure of Data

We may share data:

• With the Brand operating the loyalty program.
• With service providers assisting in analytics, AI, or marketing (under
  confidentiality agreements).
  
• As required by law or regulatory request.
• In anonymized or aggregated form with third parties for marketing,
  research, or benchmarking.

6. Data Retention

• Customer data is retained as long as required to operate the program or
  until the Brand terminates the program.
• Upon program termination, Dopamine may delete data after 30 days
  unless instructed otherwise.
  
• Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for
  analytics, AI/ML training, or monetization purposes.
  

7. Data Security

Dopamine implements technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guaranteeabsolute security.

9. Cookies and Tracking

Dopamine uses cookies or similar technologies to:

• Improve platform performance.
• Analyze usage and engagement.
• Personalize marketing communications.
